- From 25.11 to 4.12 the second year Novice Sisters from the International Novitiate had their spiritual retreat in preparation for the ceremony of their First Profession. The sisters were accompanied by Father Emmanuel Msuli SAC and Sr. Małgorzata Lech SAC.
- On November 26-27, Sr. Anna Małdrzykowska, General Councilor, had classes for Postulants and Novice Sisters on the topic of Vocation and Community; Vocation and the Pallottine charism; Vocation and desires, Individual and community Discernment. The diversity of methods actively engaged the Sisters in the lectures and allowed them to bring out the richness of talents and diversity of cultures.
- On December 7th, during the First Vespers of the Immaculate Conception, a group of ten postulants from Rwanda, DR Congo and Tanzania solemnly began their first year of Novitiate. The entry ceremony to the community was led by Sr. Izabela Świerad, Superior General, in the presence of Provincial Superior Sr. Basilisa Jacob (Tanzania) and Regional Superior Sr. Bellancila Mukandahiro (Rwanda). As a sign of belonging, the postulants received the name Sister, the cross and the Holy Bible, as signs of imitating Christ more closely. Currently, the International Novitiate community consists of 22 Sisters from Tanzania, Rwanda, DR Congo and Cameroon.
- On December 7, on the eve of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, there was a solemn blessing of the statue of St. Vincent Pallotti (128 cm), which was placed in a specially prepared plinth near the main entrance to the house. The statue was brought by Sr. Dolores Deko and is a gift from benefactors from Poland for Tanzania, for the Novitiate House. The Novitiate community was also given a set of liturgical articles and a beautiful chalice to celebrate the Holy Mass. We would like to thank all donors!
- On December 9, there was a meeting of the Subcommittee of the African Continent for the process of Reunification of the Pallottine Sisters Congregations (SAC and CSAC), which was attended by: Sr. Izabela Świerad, Superior General, Sr. Bellancila Mukandahiro, Chairwoman of the Subcommittee and Regional Superior in Rwanda, Sr. Weronika Sakowska, Superior of the Delegature in Cameroon, Sr. Elisabeth Hartnick from South Africa and sisters from communities in Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. The meeting was very fruitful. The Sisters made concrete suggestions for future planning together: various meetings, seminars, retreats, celebrations, etc. inviting also for collaboration CSAC Sisters from Mozambique.
- From December 10 to 16, the English/Tanzanian Province, Queen of Peace, held their 51st Provincial Chapter in Poli Singisi/Arusha. The theme of the Chapter “What will separate us from the love of Christ? … in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us” (Romans 8:36-39) – was accompanying the members during all these days. Among the 17 capitulars, in the chapter participated Sr. Izabela Świerad, Superior General and Sr. Anna Małdrzykowska, General Councilor, as well Sr. Mary McNulty and Sr. Nancy Logue from England. The fruit of the Chapter was the election of a new Provincial Council, which took place on 15 December:
