The first General Councils meeting of two Sister Pallottine Congregations (CSAC and SAC) for this year took place on 19 January 2020 in our Generalate. The meeting began with a prayer of the first days triduum before the Feast of St. Vincent Pallotti.
In this atmosphere and in the spirit of the Cenacle, we became better acquainted with each other, exchanged experiences, expressed expectations and joys connected with the reunification process of our two Congregation. A calendar of common events for the coming year was also prepared. This reunion was an experience of communion of hearts, common desires, hopes and sisterly love.
Our path to unity is marked not only by official meetings, but also by mutual visits, and celebrations marked by small but significant gestures. Above all, we remain united in daily common prayer: God the Father, Infinite Love, We, Pallottine Sisters, are standing before you today to listen to the desires of your Sacred Heart. In the world which constantly experiences divisions, conflicts and lack of peace, we would like to become leaven of unity and prophets of communion. In union with You and among us we want to discern the way in which you intend to guide our communities.
