2. PALLOTTINE SISTER – VOCATION AND IDENTITY
Patroness of the month – Mary, Mother of Beautiful Love, pray for us
Consecration completely embraces the identity of the called person. It embraces, penetrates and transforms. Sometimes slowly and gradually, sometimes abruptly and quickly. Like the Spirit that descended on Mary. She was the first consecrated. As if in the blink of an eye, She became aware of Her new identity and new calling. A miracle of grace and mercy! To be with Jesus, to follow Him, to love and live.
Intention of the month
Let us pray for the Holy Church, extended to the whole world – may it persevere with unshakable faith by confessing the Name of the Lord.
Lectio Divina
“May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory (…) enlighten the eyes of your mind so that you can see what hope his call holds for you” (Eph 1:17-18).
St. Vincent Pallotti writes
O my God, my Father, my infinite mercy, you have deigned to destroy everything of myself in me, and to form and create in me a new prodigy of mercy, and to constitute me in Your Church as a new prodigy of mercy (OOCC X, 211).

Individual proposal:
Personal reading of the “Spiritual Testament” (Nella mia morte) of St. Vincent Pallotti. After reading – suggested questions for personal meditation: What is my personal mission as a Pallottine Sister? How does my personal identity enrich the Pallottine charism? In individual prayer, I will praise God with the Magnificat for “the miracles of God’s mercy” in my life and in the life of my community.
