In communion with our entire Pallottine Family, on 30th October 2021, in San Salvatore in Rome, the members of the Union celebrated the XVIII anniversary of the approbation of the Union of the Catholic Apostolate by the Holy See. Reverend Father Jacob Nampudakam, the Rector General of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate and the Ecclesiastical Assistant of the Union was the main celebrant. In his homily he reflected on the theme: “The sinodality in the vision of Saint Vincent Pallotti”. He said sinodality means journeying together. This is possible only when we pray, listen and dialogue. Above all God must be at the Center of our lives. The one who can do so is also capable of contributing to the good of the Church and is zealous to go to the mission.
Ms. Donatella Acerbi, the President of the UAC in her speech thanked all people involved in the preparation of this feast especially UAC-General Secretariat for the good organization. She expressed her joy that this celebration brought us to be in communion with the Church that is journeying towards the Synod of Bishop schedule in 2023. Being a part of this Synod we are invited to journey together faithfully in fulfilling the mission of the Church.
As a charitable action of this celebration, the Mass offering will be sent to Tanzania to sustain the group members of Asizi who live with HIV/ AIDS. They are animated by the Pallottine Missionary Sisters in Tanzania.
God bless all members of the Union scattered around the world and increase new vocations to carry out tirelessly the mission of God.
