Two years ago, in the first year of the Corona pandemic, it was necessary to practice “social distancing”, to keep one’s distance. In this situation, a group of Pallottine Sisters from the German Province put together personal reflections on Advent to give a sign of solidarity to their fellow Sisters and to give them an Advent calendar to accompany them in this time of approaching Christmas.
Today, in 2022, we are experiencing other crises of war and hunger, price increases and energy shortages.
In this situation, we would like to share these reflections with you as a sign of our hope that God will not leave us alone even in these crises. This is especially clear in the texts of the Advent liturgy. He stands at the side of those who need help.
