16 May is the day of the priestly ordination of our beloved Founder Vincent Pallotti. Experiencing God`s special love and in gratitude for the gift of their precious vocation, our two novices took the theme, from Isaiah 41:3 “I have called you by name and you are mine.”
We Pallottine Missionary Sisters are grateful to God for the gift of vocation of our two novices, Lourdu Pavani Some and Sanjana Soreng, who pronounced their first vows. Our Provincial Superior Rev. Sr. Helen Lourdusamy received their vows. Seven priests concelebrated during the Holy Eucharist. The main celebrant Fr. Frank Pinto during the homily invited the novices and gathered faithful to reflect deeper on the theme according to their own vocation.
It was indeed a great day for “Mary, Mother of Divine Love” Province to welcome, acknowledge and celebrate the gift of the two new sisters as part of our family. Among the guests of the novices, we were privileged to have the parents, a religious sister from the Congregation of Good Shepherd and two Brothers from the Missionaries of the Poor. We were fortunate that besides our Provincial Superior, the General Councillor Rev. Sr. Alda Paes and all our neighbours, UAC members and many well-wishers celebrated with us. All the invited guest enjoyed the Pallottine hospitality, the sumptuous meal and the light moments.
