The Central Assembly Members gathered for Laud and Holy Mass at 7:00 a.m. with Rev. Silvester Pajak, SVD as celebrant. The main theme for today’s Liturgy is that we have been given the Holy Spirit as our guide.
Sr. Josephine opened the Central Assembly at 9:05 a.m. “Fill us with all joy and peace in believing in the Holy Spirit.” Sr. Inacinha and Sr. Margaret led us in prayer.
The Assembly Members took a listening stance—hearing the dreams, needs, struggles and joys of our various entities. We are reminded that we are ONE congregation and in our oneness we can powerfully witness God’s love and mercy.
In the afternoon, we rolled up our sleeves and worked on the practicalities of belonging to a religious institute. Much work went into the Provincial Handbook that will make life run more smoothly in the years ahead.
