The Mary Mother of Divine Love Province, India rejoiced in gratitude to God as Sr. Sharmila Juli Pinto celebrated her 25 years of her consecrated life on 24th May 2024. The celebration was held in the Pallotti Study auditorium, Bangalore. The theme for the celebration was “Give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever”.
There was a solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Roque Gonsalves, SAC, Provincial Rector of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Province, India. In his homily he congratulated Sr. Sharmila for her faithfulness to God. He also emphasized strongly on the consecrated life and reminded the consecrated people that we are set apart to live up to the vows that we have made to God.
After the Eucharist celebration with joy the jubilerian Sr. Sharmila Juli Pinto cut the cake marking her 25 years of religious profession. Provincial Superior Sr. Angela Devi honored Sr. Sharmila Julie Pinto with a shawl and garland.
The Indian Province thank God for the gift of this dedicated sister to the Church and Congregation. May she continue to journey with the Lord in faithfulness for the rest of her life. God bless her always.
