The two communities here in Rome came together for an Epiphany celebration on the evening of 6 January. As it was the tradition of the Generalate and Procura for many years, Fr Jarosław Rachowiak SDB led the prayers and blessed the houses.
The celebration continued with the prayer of vespers in the Procura Chapel, where the replica of the Bambino Gesù of St Vincent Pallotti was placed on the altar. The new team of the Salvatorian General Administration joined us for this prayer and for supper. The Salvatorian Fathers were the chaplains for us here from the beginning of our guesthouse since it opened almost 60 years ago. We shared a meal in a joyful atmosphere and then sang Christmas carols in various languages.
