On 14 August 2022, the first profession of three Pallottine novices: Sr Marie Lynn Ngnintchigui, Sr Marie Manuela Metseni and Sr Marie Messina, took place in the chapel of the Discalced Carmelite Fathers in Yaounde-Nkolbisson.
The Mass began at 11 a.m. under the presidency of Fr Jules Nkodo, Provincial of the Pallottine Fathers, and was concelebrated by a number of priests, including Fr Benoît SAC as ceremonialist and Fr Placide from the Diocese of Doumé Abong-Mbang. The Eucharistic celebration was enriched with joy and dynamism by the Pallottine choir, accompanied by our Sr Ghislaine. In addition, the presence of our Provincial Superior, Sr Iwona Nadziejko, and the Missionary Secretary, Sr Ludwika Jastrzębska, increased the joy of all, which was felt from the beginning of the celebration.
The joy was visible on the faces of the parents, relatives and loved ones of our newly professed Sisters, not to mention the joy that filled the Sisters themselves during the whole Mass. It seemed that the nuptials with their Beloved Jesus also made them outwardly more beautiful.
At the end of this magnificent celebration, all those gathered thanked God from the bottom of their hearts for the calling and consecration of the three new Pallottine Sisters and prayed that the Lord God would continue to call and send labourers into His vineyard.
Thank you, Lord, for this day and the beautiful ceremony of the First Consecration of the three Sisters in which I participated. I pray that the Lord God will always watch over each of them and complete what He has begun in them.
