The last day of the General Chapter
We started this day with the Laudes. In the morning we had a working session in which we continued our work on the recommendations. We also edited the General Chapter’s message.
In the afternoon we evaluated the Chapter, sharing our own experiences. A solemn moment of sending out and the official closing of the Chapter were followed by a festive Eucharist at San Salvatore in Onda. During the homily Fr. Jacob Nampudakam – the General Superior, SAC – he said:
“At the beginning of another phase of the history of your Congregation, we are invited once again to assume the attitudes of a little child before God: freshness, trust and zeal for growth and life. Every child is a new creation, a new beginning, a sing of God’s love and goodness; he/she is open to new learning and surprises. Today is another new beginning in the history of your Congregation, open to the creative actions of the Holy Spirit”.
