The Sisters in Switzerland enjoyed a short visit from Sr. Izabela Swierad, the Superior General, who came to the community of Niederuzwill on October 30th. The visit, though short, although only3 days, was very fruitful and brought much joy.
Sister Izabela met with the whole community for festive meal in a local restaurant, and visited two sisters, Sr. Hieronyma and Sr. Maternis, who presently are living in a Nursing home. There was an opportunity to pray together, talk together, telling stories from the past, and thinking about the future.
Together with Sr. Raphaela, Superior of the Delegature, Sr. Izabela visited the cemetery in Niederuzwil, where the Pallottine Sisters are buried. The quick farewell was sad; but time is pressing as the General Chapter is coming soon.
May the Lord bless the Sisters in Switzerland for all good things that they have made and do so to this day. To those who passed away- may God grant eternal life.
