We, the Pallottine Missionary Sisters of the Mary Mother Of Divine Love Province sung the hymn of gratitude to our Lord for adding two more members to our Family on May 16, 2024.
On the Ordination day of our Founder St. Vincent Pallotti, our two Novices, Anjana Soreng and Ansila Burh with courage and love walked the sacred isle and offered themselves to the Lord who planted a seed of vocation in their hearts some years ago. After the encounter with God and experiencing His deep love they selected a theme for their consecration, “Behold I have carved you on the palm of my Hand.”
The main celebrant Rev. Fr. Nelson Rodrigues, the Rector of Casa Pallotti Assagao, Goa inspiringly broke the Word of God, stressed on the faithfulness of God at all times. He also spoke on the importance of relying on God`s love to sustain us specially during difficult moments, as our Founder St. Vincent Pallotti says, “ God alone suffices”.
To share in our joys and to implore God`s blessings, we had 6 priests from different Congregations, two religious Sisters, Br. Marcel from the Missionaries of the Poor, a relative from Sr. Anjana Soreng. Our Provincial Rev. Sr. Angela Devi received the Vows of the Novices and welcomed them joyfully as members of our Family.
The Parents and the relatives of our two novices, our neighbours, UAC members, benefactors, friends and well-wishers participated in the celebration as the Novices Pronounced their Vows. During the Holy Eucharist we also prayed for our Congregation and remembered all of you our dear Sisters.
We congratulated the sisters and cut the cake of joy and love, while the families of the two sisters garlanded them in their traditional way. Every one enjoyed the agape and exchanged joys and good wishes.
We concluded the celebration with a note of gratitude to God and to all present for sharing in our joys and imploring God`s blessings on all of us. God bless you.
