The angel answered Mary, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Lk 1:35
Mary said: My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God. For He has done great things for me. Lk 1:46-49
My soul, give thanks and sing, rejoicing in your God;
to Him, the Creator of all things, be consecrated your song of praise.
Rejoice deeply, for the time of grace has come,
which was prophesied from the beginning to console of all the pious.
Let us sing with Mary, rejoice with her in God,
give thanks to the Saviour of the world, be devoted to his word.
Suffering and joy, all our life, all that he has given to us,
be given to the service of God, the Lord of glory.
