From 24-26 May 2014, nine new temporary missionaries met at the Mission House of the Pallottine Fathers in Limburg for another preparation seminar for their mission abroad. The young people are going to Rwanda, Bolivia and Malavi. Sr. Simone Hachen took part in the weekend and, together with Fr. Reinhold Maise, organised the workshop on religious life. After a brainstorming, the participants could ask any questions they had about religious life. They also spent the weekend working intensively on intercultural communication.
On Saturday 25 May, the whole group met for coffee with the Pallottine Sisters at their house. There was a very lively discussion. The sisters as well as the volunteers and the team were enthusiastic and impressed by getting to know each other.
The young people were particularly moved by the life achievements of the individual sisters and were delighted that the sisters would accompany them in prayer throughout their year of service. During the tour of the house and the grounds, many questions were asked about everyday life, dying, prayer, community of goods and vocation.
