The Commission met from January 23rd to January 30th, 2014, with the following members present: Srs. Adelheid Scheloske, Blanka Sławińska, Maria Świątkowska, Lowrencia Krusantony, and Phyllis Carpenter. The sisters were warmly welcomed by Superior General, Sr. Izabela Świerad, and then promptly set to work on the following Agenda:
1. Preparation for the printing of two documents regarding our foundation, our name and the initials that follow the name.
2. The content of a history of the Indian Province, prepared by Sr. Lowrencia Krusantony.
3. Preparation for printing the history of our congregation in English written by Sr. Salesia Wellmann.
The members of the commission were inspired by the wealth of historical data available for the edification of all Pallottine Sisters of the Congregation.
An outing to the Congregation of the Evangelization of Peoples (Propaganda Fide), which is connected to the beginnings of our mission congregation, enabled the members to know part of the the data available in the archives of that Congregation and its functioning.
